More trucks, one contact
Planning a big event and need food vendors? We work with a network of quality food trucks and can take care of the whole food side for you: choosing the right vendors, collecting their paperwork and running things on the day, so you only deal with one contact.
Talk to us about your eventEvents we look after
- School fetes and fairs
- Car and bike meets
- Sports carnivals and club days
- Markets and night markets
- Community and council events
- Charity fundraisers
- Corporate family days and open days
- Christmas and end-of-year events
- Festivals and concerts
- Large weddings and functions
What we take care of
- Choosing the right number of vendors and a good mix of food, so nobody's selling the same thing
- Collecting and checking every vendor's paperwork before the day
- Planning where each vendor sets up, arrival times, and power and water needs
- Helping you with any council requirements for food at your event
- One contact for every vendor on the day, so you can get on with running your event
Events open to the public
Fetes, meets, markets and festivals where your crowd buys food from each vendor.
| Expected crowd | Starting point |
|---|---|
| Up to 1,000 people | 3 vendors |
| 1,000 to 2,000 people | 3 to 5 vendors |
| 2,000 to 3,500 people | 5 to 8 vendors |
| More than 3,500 people | Let's talk |
This is a starting point. We'd rather your vendors sell out than sit idle, because vendors who do well come back next year. We'll fine-tune the numbers with you based on your event.
Catering with several trucks
Feeding a big team, a conference or a large wedding? You book us once and we bring in the other trucks. You pay, your guests eat for free, and you deal with one contact.
Because everyone eats at once, the number of trucks depends on how long service runs. For example, 500 guests at a two-hour lunch usually needs four or five trucks, or a shorter menu with longer service. We'll plan it with you.
What we'll ask you
- How many people came last year? Gate counts, ticket sales or wristband numbers are best.
- How many food vendors did you have last year, and how did they go?
- Does your event run over a meal time?
- What other food will be on site, such as a barbecue, canteen or bar?
- What's the plan if the weather turns?
Paperwork we collect from every vendor
- Council food business licence
- Public liability insurance (certificate of currency)
- Any other documents your event or council requires
Each vendor stays responsible for its own food, licences and insurance. We collect and check their documents for you, but each business answers for what it serves.
Fees and arrangements
Every event is different, so we agree the arrangement with you. That might be a site fee from vendors, a fee to you, or simply taking the job off your hands. We'll work out what suits your event.
We coordinate events with three or more vendors. Just need one truck? Book a single truck through our catering page.
